The Browns SUCK
The Browns lost to the Houston Texans 16-6 today and I am NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT.
I choose two people to incur my bloglike wrath on and they are Braylon and Romeo.
Braylon. Seriously? Come on man, you get paid millions of dollars to run and catch. NOT DROP PASSES. We could have won today if Braylon made a few more damn catches or otherwise DO HIS JOB. I'm so sick of drives going down the pooper because Braylon can't catch the damn ball.
Braylon Edwards...FAIL.
Romeo. What in the name of all things sacred possessed you to bench Quinn and put in Anderson?? You benched Anderson for a reason did you not? I know Quinn threw some interceptions but yanking him in the middle of a game and putting in that cracker Anderson is NOT the right call.
Romeo Crennel...FAIL.
So I say, keep Braylon but just make him work on his catching for the rest of the season and during the off-season, maybe he can get back in his game. Fire Crennel and get Cowher! Just give him everything he wants, kiss his feet and let him do his thing! Send Crennel back to Defensive Coordinator so he doesn't whine.
So, overall what I have to say about this season is...
Cleveland Browns...FAIL.
Although I'm excited to see what Brady has to offer as he gets some more experience, but knowing Cleveland, we'll probably trade him and the next year he will win a super bowl or something.
In a positive bit of Ohio sports news, Columbus crew won the MLS championship, which is really good according to my little brother. And I guess he knows what he's talking about.
And the Lake Erie Monsters won! GO LAKE ERIE!
So maybe the cavs will pull through for us this season. KING JAMES BABY!

Podcasts are irritating
So I have been spending the better part of my friday night trying to get this damn podcast updated with new cover art and descriptions and whatnot on the iTunes page because I'm anal about things like that, but it's giving me a lot of grief.
Seriously Apple? Why does this have to be so hard?
I thought apple software was supposed to be retardedly easy, isn't that their gimmick?
Oh well, anyway the podcast is still available and the episodes are still updating. You can get to the UN-UPDATED podcast page here.
You just have to subscribe and get the episodes from your actual podcasts tab in your own personal iTunes. The episodes on the iTunes Store page are out of date until Apple pulls their heads out of their asses.

Journey To The Center of the GAY
So I just watched Journey to the Center of the Earth. That 3d movie with Brendan Fraiser.
Dear God it sucked.
I knew it was gonna suck but I thought at least it would have some cool visuals since I was watching it on Blu-Ray. But alas, it still sucked. The visuals were way to cartoony and while there was an element of coolness to them, the end result was just too cheesy for me to get over.

Reboot Revival?!?!
For all you out there who were robbed of a complete and happy childhood and never saw and enjoyed the old television cartoon series Reboot. You should know that it is arguably one of the greatest cartoons of the 90's and most undoubtedly the best 3d cartoon ever.
It will change your life.
And for everyone who knows what I'm talking about, you probably share in my everyday sorrow that is the fact that it has been canceled for a good long time.
But alas, there is hope.
Apparently there is quite a big push to get Reboot back, check out this website...

There seems to be a whole litany of Reboot universe items here that survived the cancellation of the show, including a (quite long) webcomic. I think this serves to show just how many people are dying to get Reboot back. I think that now is the perfect time to bring it back too, considering the advances in 3d since this show was created. Just think of the possibilities!
Anyways, this is enough to get any Reboot fan a little bit tingly in the lower abdomen.

Dragonball the Movie
So for all you DBZ fans out there, if you didn't know already, they are making a live action film based around the events of goku as a youngin and when Piccolo was the quintessential evil badass. I was skeptical about this on hearing of it. Is the transfer from anime to live action really possible and for the end result to not totally suck?
Then I saw that Justin Chatwin (that BITCHY fuckin teenager from War of the Worlds) was casted to play Goku and saw the hairstyle they were planning to use for him.
I lost all confidence.
And add on top of that, that the whole thing was getting uncontrollably cheesy. For example, Piccolo (James Marsters) supposedly has little "minions" that look like the puddys from Power Rangers.
Things were not looking too good for a Dragonball live action movie...
But then I had Saltis talk to me about it, and trust me, there is no more knowledgeable person on the subject of movies OR Dragonball Z, and he got me thinking that there is still some hope. He basically used his Saltis ways on me and convinced me.
So I have to say, I'm a LITTLE excited about it. The style does look kinda cool. One thing I'm afaid of is that it will have to much stupid Japanese humor that would usually fly in an anime but on the big screen I think would bomb.
So in conclusion I decided that hey, if it's a turd, it's a turd. If it's great then all us DBZ homos will have something to fag all over for a great long while.

Movies I am looking forward to
Watchmen-
I read this graphic novel and let me start by saying it is one of the best stories I have ever read. I love the style they are doing this movie in, I think it's perfect for style of the comic, and I'm REALLY excited to see how this turns out. I am afraid though that it will not be very well accepted by the public because they're expecting another Iron Man or Hulk. This is not a superhero movie, don't judge it as such.
Star Trek-
Yeah, I'm a trekkie, so crucify me. I really like the direction they decided to take this new movie in. Instead of trying to remain true to the Star Trek universe, they are trying to just make an exciting and compelling movie, which I think is just the breath of fresh air the series needs.

Dick Goddard
Seriously guys? 10:15pm and still no followers? You guys suck.
I had a random thought while watching the news today that really depressed me and since I'm all about communal depression, I'm going to share.
Dick Goddard is getting pretty old. I mean, the guy has been doing the weather since like, black and white television. He is pretty much an icon of Northeast Ohio. How much longer can he possibly keep it up? He's gonna croak soon, and then what? You can't just fill Dick Goddard's shoes with any shmuck off the street. If anything, Fox 8 should just stop doing the weather. The only thing a replacement would do is make me miss Dick Goddard and make me cry and I wouldn't even hear the weather. FAIL. But until the sad, sad day of Dick Goddard's demise, enjoy this picture...

Apparently someone killed themself over myspace because someone posted rumors about them or something. Now of course, everyone is going to be like, "oh, that's so sad. It's the scourge of technology on society." But, seriously, if you're gonna off yourself because you can't handle someone posting something about you on myspace then just get it done so I don't have to listen to your goddamn whining. Myspace? Seriously?
Fox 8 also apparently wants me to believe that Elvis is still alive. They are correct in assuming I can be convinced that it is true. They are not in assuming I give a flying fuck.
